Enroll your child in an enriching 6-week Folklorico Dance Workshop designed to celebrate Hispanic culture and heritage. This program offers a unique opportunity for children ages 7-12 to learn traditional Mexican folk dance, also known as Folklorico. With vibrant costumes, lively music, and dynamic choreography, your child will experience the beauty and excitement of this cultural art form.

What to Expect:
Professional Instruction: Classes are led by Mariposas de Mansfield dance instructors who specialize in teaching children.
Comprehensive Curriculum: Over the course of six weeks, students will learn basic to advanced Folklorico dance steps, hand and arm movements, skirt and hat techniques, and full choreography for their final performance.
Fun and Engaging Atmosphere: Our classes are designed to be enjoyable and engaging, ensuring that every child has a positive and memorable experience.
Showcase Your Child's Talent!
At the end of the workshop, students will have the incredible opportunity to perform on stage at the Farr Best Theater during the Hispanic Heritage Month Talent Show on September 29th. This event is a celebration of Hispanic culture and is organized by Mariposas de Mansfield and the Mansfield Commission for the Arts.
Watch with pride as your child demonstrates their newfound skills and confidence in a vibrant and festive performance. This is a wonderful chance for family and friends to come together and celebrate the achievements of our young dancers.
