Creative Wisdom Cards: Designing Affirmations and Personal Inspiration
In this art therapy workshop, participants will be working on identifying inspiration for growth, through the creation of wisdom cards. These will all be individual to the creators, but will be useful in the future as the start of a deck of cards that can be used to provide weekly inspiration to the artist and participant. Each deck will be created using motivational quotes and sayings generated in the workshop, and will be decorated with imagery that the artist creates using collage as the foundation. This workshop is appropriate for all adults, and participants will receive a certificate for 3 hours of CE for counseling or related social service professions. All supplies are provided and each participant will go home with instructions on how to use these cards for their own affirmation work.
